Bolzano Airport Taxi to Moena: What to Arrange

Yes, but arrange the ride ahead: SkyAlps says taxis are not available on standby at Bolzano Airport and that a short wait may be necessary. The airport gives Radio Taxi Bolzano’s number as +39 0471 981111. The service accepts requests by phone, SMS, WhatsApp and app, and operates around the clock every day of the year.

Bolzano Airport is at Via Aeroporto Francesco Baracca 1, Bolzano. You can hail a taxi in front of the terminal or at Bolzano train station; the journey between the station and airport takes about 15 minutes. For other arrival options and the onward journey, read how to get to Moena from Bolzano Airport.

Ask whether the operator accepts a pre-booked airport pickup and will take you all the way to Moena. Radio Taxi Bolzano serves extra-urban journeys, but these require additional information through its request form. Its fleet includes station wagons, sedans and minivans.

The Val di Fassa tourism board names Taxi Bez as a Moena-based airport-transfer service. It uses 8-seat minibuses and offers wheelchair and bicycle transport, as well as credit-card acceptance.

Desilvestro Taxi e Viaggi is a Moena-based family transport business operating since 1940, with airport transfers including to and from Bolzano. Its vehicles range from 4-seat cars to minibuses and buses.

Moena’s tourism website names FiemmeFassaExpress as a provider of transfers from airports and railway stations to Val di Fassa and Val di Fiemme. If you’re comparing a transfer with a room booking, Hotel Ancora’s rooms in Moena are about 27.0 km from Bolzano Airport.

Request the fare and booking terms for your exact pickup and destination before confirming. Radio Taxi Bolzano says fares are set by the Municipality of Bolzano and updated periodically; its website directs passengers to the latest rate document. Ask whether the quote covers the full journey to Moena and whether waiting time or extra luggage affects the fare.

Give the operator your flight details, passenger count and luggage needs when requesting a vehicle. For a longer journey, confirm the pickup point and how the driver will contact you if your flight is delayed. You can also check what to check before booking accommodation in Moena while planning your arrival.

A pre-booked taxi or transfer can take you directly to Moena; public transport requires a change. The Val di Fassa tourism board describes a bus route from Bolzano toward Moena on südtirolmobil bus 180 to Vigo di Fassa, followed by a change to a Trentino Trasporti bus.

Moena’s tourism website also describes the winter-only Fly Ski Shuttle, which runs on Saturdays and Sundays to and from nearby airports. Its airport stops are Verona, Bergamo, Venice and Treviso, not Bolzano.

SASA buses 10A and 10B connect Bolzano city centre with the airport, and the nearest stop is about 600 metres from the terminal. Those connections serve the airport and city, rather than providing a direct taxi substitute to Moena.

Before you go: operator services and fares can change, so check the official site before you go. For fares, use Radio Taxi Bolzano’s latest rate document; for local transfers, check the Val di Fassa or Moena tourism websites.
